    SPRING SOCCER

Description
​

The Spring Soccer Program is a seven-week camp for children ages 4 to 10 years old with various ability levels.  The program will utilize RUSC collegiate soccer players to teach critical soccer skills and build a foundation that all young players need to be successful before they advance to organized, competitive team play.

Saturday mornings - Saturday May 4 till June 22, 2024 (Weather Permitting)

No Session Memorial Day Weekend-May 25th

Ages 4-5   9:30 – 10:30  (Ages and times are subject to change)
Ages 6-10   11:00 – 12:00  (Ages and times are subject to change)

Rotterdam United Soccer Club Fields at 100 Princetown Road – Rotterdam, NY (Across from the Police Station)

Registration

​

Any registration after April 28th will be on a first come first serve basis and at the discretion of Rotterdam United SC.  Please contact CJ Goodwin at RUSCSSoccer@gmail.com.

Cost

​​

​The cost is $100.00 and includes a shirt. (Price subject to change without notice.) If payments are not received on or before May 1st, then

$10.00 late fee will be added. This fee refers to orders over 7 days old or older. All orders are date stamped.

​

Confirmation   

​

All pre-registered players will be sent a confirmation email. Prior to the first day your shirt, and any items ordered can be picked up on Thursday, May 4th or Friday May 5th from 6:30-8:00pm.  If you are unable to pick up at those times, you will be able to get your items

on the first day, May 6th.  Please arrive 30 minutes before your start time to ensure enough time to get ordered items before the sessions start. Please note that due to COVID shipping on some/ all items may be delayed.

What to Bring

​

Children should bring a ball, water, cleats or sneakers, and shin guards.  You may purchase shin guards ($10.00 a pair) or a soccer ball ($15.00) online when you register.  Shin guards and soccer balls will also be available for sale the first day of Spring Soccer, quantities are limited.

COVID-19

​

COVID protocols may be modified as required by the CDC or due to rising/ falling cases within the community. Currently the standard would be that all participants and spectators will be required to wear a masks while on the property unless eating or drinking. Players will need to wear a mask while participating. Spectators should maintain social distancing and be from the players household.

RUSC is an organization dedicated to helping children and young adults grow as individuals through positive experience with the game of soccer.  RUSC is not affiliated with any local government or public school district.

 

All players from the surrounding area are welcome.  You do not have to live in Rotterdam to participate in this program.
